Hello! My name is Dalton Watson, and I am the 2nd - 5th grade assistant principal at PLES. I attended Auburn University for my undergraduate degree and Arkansas State University for my graduate degree. I am so excited to continue in this role to better serve students and teachers. I look forward to witnessing our students push themselves to be the best version of themselves each and every day. I believe that courage, hard work, consistency and integrity can take you anywhere you want to go in life. Family is a big deal to me. My wife and I have one daughter and large extended families. You will often find us travelling on the weekends to visit them. We enjoy cheering for the Auburn Tigers, especially Auburn football. Football has played a large part in my life. I believe the lessons I learned of sacrifice, teamwork, toughness and self-discipline have shaped me into who I am today. I have enjoyed getting to coach the game and help shape young men into future leaders in society. I truly believe the entire education process, from elementary school to secondary school extra-curricular activities, provides me the opportunity to positivelyimpact young peoples' lives. I cannot wait to see where we can go this school year. Go Bulldogs!
