    Teaching is an absolute passion of mine, and I am so excited to work with you and your child! It is going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us! I thought you might like to know a little about me.

    I was raised in Prattville and have lived here all my life.  I attended Auburn University at Montgomery where I received my Bachelors in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  I have begun working toward my Masters in Elementary Education.  I have taught pre-K, kindergarten, 1st grade, 4th grade, and 6th grade. This is my 5th year in 4th grade. I love 4th graders and especially love sharing my love for reading, writing, and great literature with them.

    I have been married to my best friend ,T.J., for 29  years.  We have three awesome kids who keep us busy and laughing.  Ben is 24 and Maddie is 23, and they are both Bama grads. Taylor Ann is 19 and is a sophomore at Bama. We have an adorable, silly Goldendoodle named Sadie, a big, goofy Rottweiler named Harley, and 2 sweet cats named Evelyn and Eleanor. Some things I enjoy are traveling with my family (especially going to the beach, National Parks,  and Disney World), reading, and Alabama football. (ROLL TIDE!)

I know we will have a great year together!
