I currently hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education; a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education.  I also hold a Masters of Science in Elementary Education; and an Education Specialist Degree in Elementary Education. 

In addition, I have been teaching since 1995.    I have a profound love of reading and I am passionate about ensuring that my students are performing to the highest level possible.  I look forward to working with you so that we can ensure your child is able to make great strides above and beyond all measures.

Dear Parents,  

Please check your child’s daily folder or binder. 
Please initial your child’s daily behavior sheet and return it daily.  
Tuesday Folders – please initial and return your child’s folder on Wednesday or the following school day. Thanks 
When children finish their work, they are asked to read:  their library book, books they have brought from home, or their reading book to eliminate interfering with the learning of others.  This will also help with comprehension skills. 
Thurs., April 25th – will be Bulldog Binder Day starting at 12:15. 
Fri., April 26th – will be Spirit Day/Special Snack. Items will range from $1.00 - $1.50 each. 
Mon., April 29th – Ms. Fields’ Homeroom will go to the bookfair. 
Tues., April 30th – Kona Ice will be at the school.  The prices are $3,4, & $ 5.00.

Wed., May 1st – Ms. Madison’s Homeroom will go to the bookfair.

May 6 – 10 – Teacher Appreciation Week.
May 3rd – Launch Field Trip.

Reading – we will be working on  How Congress Works.     We will take our test on Thursday/Friday.
Spelling –We will be working on Unit 5 – Lesson 3.  We will have our test on Thursday.
Grammar – we are learning about the forms of the verb to be(am, is, are, were) and other irregular verbs (eat/ate, fly/flew, bring/brought).
