I have been teaching special education for nine years. I have taught at MPS, Elmore County, and I am currently at Pine Level Elementary. I earned my bachelor's degree in Collaborative Education K-6th from Auburn University Montgomery and I am currently working towards a graduate degree in Collaborative Education 7th-12th.
Once obtaining my graduate degree I plan to work towards an Education Specialist degree in special education. I strongly believe in advocating for children and enjoy learning and exploring new educational opportunities to help each student reach his or her full potential.
I am married and with two wonderful children. When I am not teaching or completing schoolwork, I am at my children’s sporting events, riding motorcycles with my husband, or reading. I love to travel and explore new places. I would like to visit all fifty states and all the National Parks.
