Monday:

Reading: We are reading "One Small Step" this week.

Vocabulary-onboard, glitches, descending, ventures, rendezvoused, fatigue, resounding, esteemed, thrusters, capsule, awry, and magnitude.

Grammar: "Subjects and Predicates review & introduce Independent and Dependent clauses.

Writing: Write Friendly Letters 

Spelling-abundance, authorize, criticize, elegance, emphasize, evidence, existence, fragrance, harmonize, hypnotize, ignorance, inheritance, insurance, legalize, magnetize, organize, preference, reference, specialize, and sterilize.

Tuesday: 

Reading: Skills with Workbook

                             p. 29 &30- Word analysis

                             p. 31 & 32- Vocabulary

                             p. 35& 36- Classifying and Cat.

                             p. 39 & 40- Spelling

Grammar: Independent and Dependent Clauses

Writing: Friendly Letters & R.A.C.E. responses

 Spelling- Type spelling words 3 times each into Google Classroom.

Wednesday:

 Grammar- "Subjects and Predicates Test

 Writing- R.A.C.E. responce practice

Spelling- Practice Spelling Test!

Thursday:

Reading: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Work on novel packets-  Types of characters-dynamic, flat, stationary, round, etc.

Grammar: "Independent/Dependent Clause daily Grade

Writing: R.A.C.E responce from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Spelling: Write a short story using ten spelling words.

Friday:

Unit 1 Lesson 3 Test- word analysis, vocabulary, and cold read comprehension questions.   

Read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory 

Work on novel packets- Types of characters
